Blink Recruitment are now actively recruiting for an experienced Paint finisher/Technitian.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Paint Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong level of experience in final checking of the clients product. This role requires proficiency with both power and hand tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting where required. As a Finisher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards before they are dispatched.

Responsibilities

• Full capability to identify requirements to have the body/trailer ready for delivery to the customer.
• Must have an excellent knowledge of paint and repair techniques.
• Ability to finish bodies/trailers to the correct colour and spec.
• Ability and knowledge to rectify any paint defects that may have occurred during the production process that is to the standard of a PDI.
• Daily housekeeping disciplines.
• Produce a quality product in a timely manner.
• Must complete end of shift cleaning.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• You must comply with the PPE factory rules at all times.
• All H&S working procedures must be followed at all times.
• Flexibility to work in other areas of the business as and when required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role or relevant skills in Paint Finishing.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and other finishing equipment.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as required by the role.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 46 per week
