Part Time Technical Administrator

Job Description

The focus of the business is the procurement and sale of technical materials. Dealing with the whole spectrum of materials from electrical/electronic parts to mechanical, electro-mechanical and specialist oils/lubricants. All are in support of engineering, manufacturing, or technical service industries.

Duties Include:

• Booking in parts/materials
• Handling of parts/materials within the stores environment and onto our logistics partners vehicles when necessary (pump truck operation etc.)
• Printing part labels and ensuring accuracy/traceability
• Kitting parts
• Shipping customer orders in a timely manner
• Chasing late supplier deliveries and maintaining Sage 50 data
• Some supported purchasing activity (until competence has been proven)
• Monitoring the sales email inbox to ensure all enquiries are logged
• Communicating with customers and suppliers as required
