Flatshop Pottery Worker – Full time/Permanent

Working within Steelite International in the creation of ceramic ware – you will possess the following essential skills:

  • Reliable

  • Good Attention to Detail

  • Self-Motivated

  • Methodical Approach to Working

  • Good Eyesight and Hand Dexterity

  • Health and safety conscious

  • Standing for periods of time 

Day to Day Activities

  • Working as part of a team, using machinery to produce a vast range of flatware - plates / saucers

  • Loading clay cylinders onto the machine, ensuring smooth running and high standard of consistency

  • Quality checking of all items to ensure a high standard is achieved before forwarding the ware to the next part of the production journey.

Shifts and pay

  • Flat Maker: 6:00-14:00 | Pay rate: £10.42ph / £10.55ph

  • Flat Sponger: 6:00-14:00 | Pay rate: £10.42ph / £10.87ph 

  • Temp to perm – 12 week probation.
