About the Role

As a rework operative you will be responsible for reworking and repairing PCBs and units to IPC 7711 to ensure they are of a high standard and quality, in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Main responsibilities:

  • To rework and repair PCBs and units in line with IPC 7711
  • To remove and refit BGAs using equipment provided
  • To carry out general production work where needed
  • To maintain accurate process data/records/documentation associated with your work
  • To adhere to health and safety standards, quality standards, policies and procedures
  • To adhere to the production schedule
  • To adhere to operational procedures and production timelines
  • To carry out lean manufacturing processes and 5S
  • To provide improvement ideas to the Production Supervisor
  • To collaborate with technical and quality departments when required

The above is not an exhaustive list of day-to-day responsibilities. Duties should be carried out in accordance with local work instructions and procedures. There may be a requirement for some flexibility within this role including assisting in other areas to meet business needs.

Job Details

Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, UK

Hours: 39 hours per week

Monday to Thursday - 8.5 hours

Friday - 5 hours

Salary: £11.81ph

Holidays: 20 days plus Bank Holidays (increases by 1 day per year worked to 6 days extra)
